On May 20th starts the TRAM BARCELONA OPEN, the 4th International Wheelchair Tennis Tournament in the city of Barcelona
Our tournament is born with one goal: to make wheelchair tennis known to all the citizens of Barcelona. For this we work with one challenge: to become one of the referents inside the world circuit of wheelchair tennis and offer a great adapted sports event, where the main values that we represent can be shared for players, organization, fans, sponsors and collaborators.
REAL CLUB DE POLO DE BARCELONA
One of the most important sports clubs of Barcelona and Spain
The RCPB is one of the most important sports clubs in Barcelona and Spain.
Founded in 1897, it has an area of 29 hectares in the center of Barcelona, where more than 10.000 members can practice a total of 5 sports disciplines: tennis, horseback riding, hockey, polo and paddle.
The tennis section has the biggest number of players of the club, and it also has the highest number of federation-affiliated players in the country.
With its 38 clay courts, all of them well lit, the RCPB has more courts than any other club in Spain.
A city accessible to all
Barcelona has made a great effort to be a city free of architectural barriers. Thanks to this work, it is considered one of the most accessible cities in Europe.
The goal is to build a better Barcelona, where all people can enjoy the city and access its most known attractions regardless of their capabilities.
Below, we present the most emblematic places of the city, all of which are accessible for people with reduced mobility.
